About the ReStore

Habitat for Humanity explains the ReStore:
“Habitat ReStores are independently owned reuse stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates that accept donations and sell home improvement items to the public at a fraction of the retail price.

Proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in local communities and around the world — a good deal for you, your community and the environment.”

Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane ReStore
The Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane ReStore is located at 1210 Oak Patch Road 1/2 block south off West 11th in Eugene, Or. 541.344.4809

In March of 2010, The Restore on Oak Patch Road in Eugene, Oregon opened its doors. Some of the original volunteers continue to spend their time here. Most notably, our ReStore Manager, Cindy (aka Rebel Queen) has been here since before the doors were open to the public. She recalls spending hours sorting through screws and nails as well as cleaning tile to be placed on the shelf.

In Memoriam, Mark Stephens.
Mark volunteered at various Habitats throughout the Pacific Northwest for many years. He came to volunteer at the ReStore every Wednesday beginning in 2015. Mark passed away unexpectedly in 2018. It was decided that a Wednesday without Mark was a very sad thought, so we got ourselves an aquarium (thanks Aqua Serene for your guidance) and a nice little goldfish, named Mark. Mark swims with his buddies the snails over in the arty bits section.
