Responsibilities:
- Keep pricing area clean and organized
- Compare online prices generally from equivalent box stores to acquire an average and then target a 50% reduction for new merchandise less for used
- Deliver priced merchandise to stocking area or stock shelves yourself depending on time and amount of pricing needing to be done
- Assist in other store functions as requested
- Follow all ReStore policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Desire to help the Habitat ReStore with its mission of providing funds for the Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane affordable housing program
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to communicate policies and procedures clearly to donors and customers
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately
- Ability to:
- utilize PC/internet to look merchandise up for comparison pricing
- bend, stoop, stretch, and perform repetitive tasks regularly
- stand for long periods of time
- work in a minimally heated/cooled area for extended periods
