Lori’s Fireplace Mantle Headboard

About a month ago I purchased a mantel top and the side columns from Habitat for $20. I made a headboard for my king size bed with it. I used an arched wood trim piece I also purchased from Habitat probably 5 years ago. I also had an oak 1×6 that just happened to to have a rounded edge. Which I also more than likely bought from the ReStore years ago. To put it altogether I used scrap wood trim pieces left over from other projects and some shiplap. I laid it all out, and cut it to fit. I then sanded, stained primed and painted adding the square medallions I bought off of Amazon. Finished it measures at 60” tall by 77”. Here are the pictures of my process and the the finished product. (please excuse the background mess)
